About ยท Vancouver, BC

A studio for
crossing lines.

The Orchestrator is an independent Vancouver creative studio founded by Jen Pearson, a longtime film/video editor, DJ, producer and creative technologist. It builds distinctive websites and useful digital products, and develops editorial, events, music projects and cultural experiences.

The common thread is structure: taking an idea with a lot of moving parts and turning it into something clear, usable and ready to exist in the world.

One studio.
Different roles.

The Orchestrator changes shape with the project. Sometimes that means strategy and web design. Sometimes production, programming or curation. Sometimes it means building the system that lets all the other pieces work together.

It works especially well with small businesses, artists, cultural organizations and independent projects that want something thoughtful, distinctive and practical โ€” without the layers of a large agency.
